"Never forget that the first syllable of convenience is con"

After quite a while of living in the so-called comfort zone, I finally have to go out and see what the world actually offers me. This not only means going out -- in fact, I have to leave everything I've got in order to build something bigger.

You know, the trouble in leaving your comfort zone is obviously, leaving all the comfort. The convenience.  Now I understand why, in his book I'm A Stranger Here Myself, Bill Bryson writes "never forget that the first syllable of convenience is con". The idea of it is definitely alluring, but it also easily makes you deluded.
